1. Does Acupuncture Hurt?

Most of the time acupuncture needles feel like almost nothing or like a mosquito bite. Occasionally you may experience a point that feels like a bee sting.

2. When Will I Notice the Acupuncture Is Working?

The average treatment could take 1-3 treatments on average before a change is notice. In some cases, it may take up to 5 sessions before a noticeable change in symptoms occurs. In my office, most patients feel a change after the FIRST treatment.

3. Are the Needles Sterile?

State law requires the Florida acupuncturists use single-use disposable needles that are sterile and pre-packaged. Needles are then disposed of in a Sharp's bio-hazard container.

4.Is There Anything Inside the Needle?

The needles are solid and thin like a cat whisker.

5. How Does Acupuncture Work?

Acupuncture needles stimulate special points along the body called acupuncture points which are located on the acupuncture meridians. Overall circulation is improved with acupuncture and certain factors are stimulated such as anti-inflammatory factors and pain-relieving chemicals

6. How Much Will It Cost?

Cost of treatment depends on the area, the practitioner and the amount of time being treated each session.

Treatment cost is $130 for NEW patients (approx 45-60 minutes).

$90 for Standard follow-up sessions (approx. 20 minutes).

$115 for Long follow-up sessions (approx. 40 minutes) for when you feel you need extra care.

7. What Can Acupuncture Help?
